About TruLight Austin

Permanent outdoor lighting for Austin and Central Texas

TruLight Austin is a TruLight dealer serving homeowners and businesses across Austin and surrounding Central Texas communities. We plan and install permanent RGBW roofline lighting for everyday warm white, holidays, events, accent lighting, and motion-based use.

Meet the owners

Billy, Javier, and Tom own TruLight Austin and TruLight San Antonio together. Billy runs Austin. Javier runs San Antonio. Tom builds and runs the websites and the marketing for both.

The two markets are not separate companies that happen to share a name. What changes between them is which owner shows up at your house. In Central Texas, that is Billy.

What we install

The TruLight system uses 48-volt power and RGBW nodes with three color LEDs and three dedicated warm white LEDs per light. Track is planned around the home's roofline, trim, access, and controller location.

Landscape lighting runs on the same system. Path lights, tree uplights, step and paver lights, and pillar lights are controlled from the same app and the same controller as the roofline, so the yard and the roof can run one scene together.

How the process works

  1. 1. Estimate

Start with the satellite estimator for a preliminary price based on the selected roofline coverage.

  2. 2. Confirm

The team confirms measurements, mounting surfaces, access, power, controller location, and the final scope.

  3. 3. Install

Most homes are installed in one day, followed by testing and an app walkthrough before the project is complete.

Clear warranty terms

Lights and control panels have limited lifetime coverage for up to 100,000 hours from completed installation. Parts and labor are covered for one year. Exclusions and transfer requirements apply, and the signed agreement controls.
