Start with the coverage you will use
A front roofline and a full-perimeter installation are different projects. Before requesting a quote, take a photo from the street and mark the garage, entry, upper peaks and side sections you want included. If you also want light near the back patio, include a photo from that side.
The satellite estimator gives you a preliminary price range. An in-person consultation confirms the measurements, mounting surfaces and access needed for the installation. Ask for the proposed coverage in writing so you can compare quotes for the same work.

What happens during installation?
- Confirm the layout. Choose the lit sections, then confirm measurements, mounting surfaces and access at the home.
- Agree on the details. Review track color, controller location, wiring routes, unlit transitions and the zones you want to control together.
- Install and check the system. The track mounts below the fascia and soffit. It does not attach to the gutters or roof. Timing depends on the confirmed scope and site conditions.
- Review the controls and service. Walk through the lighting, app settings and schedules. Keep the written scope and warranty, and confirm how to request help.

See white light and track together
The night view is only part of the decision. Look at the track against your trim in daylight, then ask to see the white-light setting you expect to use most often. A color demonstration does not show you how that everyday setting will look on your exterior.
TruLight uses a dedicated white channel alongside its color LEDs. The app also supports zones, letting you choose different settings for separate sections of the house. We can discuss which sections you want to control together during the consultation.
Plan for the house you have
Long roof edges, changes in height and separate sections affect the installation design. The power layout needs to account for the proposed equipment and coverage. A voltage number alone does not tell you how many power connections a particular house needs.

Review the current warranty terms, including which components and labor are covered. An LED hour rating is not a promise that an installed system will need no service.

Lifetime Warranty
The lighting modules and control box carry the TruLight lifetime warranty: 100,000 hours for the lights, which is 11.4 years from installation, and five years for the control box. Parts and installation labor are covered for one year from completed installation. Read the written warranty for exclusions and the transfer process.
