Brushy Creek Lake Park is a 90-acre city park at 3300 Brushy Creek Road, with hike and bike trails. Williamson County also runs the Brushy Creek Regional Trail, a mostly concrete path of about 7.75 miles that follows Brushy Creek to Twin Lakes Park in Cedar Park.
You can set the roofline to turn on at sunset and off at sunrise by itself, then add day-of-week schedules if some evenings call for a different look.

Lakeline Park and the cave preserves
Lakeline Park, at 1510 Alexis Drive, has a 2.5-mile walk, run and bike loop around its lake. The city says that once its second phase is finished, Lakeline will be Cedar Park's largest park, at more than 200 acres. Parks and Recreation also looks after 250 acres of cave preserves.
With zones, the rear of the house can stay in warm white while the street side shows a different scene.

Cedar Park's residential outdoor lighting code
Section 14.08.003 of the city code, on residential outdoor lighting, says: "Holiday lighting is allowed from October 15th to March 15th." Section 14.08.002 says outdoor lighting is installed under the building and electrical codes, with the appropriate permit and inspection. Confirm with the city how these sections apply to your installation before work starts.

The city publishes a GIS map layer of neighborhoods with an organization or HOA, but check your association's architectural process with the association itself. Cedar Park's permit lists are not comprehensive, and the city asks you to call 512-401-5100 to confirm which permits you need before any work begins. HOA applications and permits are your responsibility; we can write up the planned installation for either one.

They are in Article 14.08 of the city code. The residential section says holiday lighting is allowed from October 15th to March 15th, so ask the city how that applies to the lighting you plan.
No. The city says it can only enforce the City Code, and that deed restrictions are enforced by your HOA, POA, COA or property manager. Ask your association directly.
Permanent roofline lighting is not a replacement for every floodlight, path light or task fixture. For Cedar Park yards we also plan landscape lighting, such as path and step lights along walkways and uplights for trees, and those fixtures share the roofline's controller and app.
